Vanessa Bezrodnaya is a highly accomplished singer, actress, and musical performer, originally from Lübeck, Germany, and raised in Semey, Kazakhstan. She gained international recognition through her participation as a finalist in major television competitions like Eurovision and New Wave across Europe and Asia. EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH VANESSA BEZRODNAYA
Where are you originally from and where are you based now?
Vanessa Bezrodnaya-A: I was born in Germany, grew up in Kazakhstan, and I am currently based in Los Angeles, California.
As an actress, what motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession?
Vanessa Bezrodnaya – A: I am inspired by my role models—people who came from ordinary backgrounds and became stars through hard work and persistence. It proves to me that nothing is impossible if you truly want it and never stop pushing forward. When people say something can’t be done, I don’t believe it because others have already achieved it. This mindset drives me to give my best every day.
What are your favorite genre roles?
Vanessa Bezrodnaya-A: My favorite genres are action films. I’ve always wanted to play a spy or secret agent, especially since I am fluent in Russian, which I believe suits such roles. I also enjoy comedies and musicals, as I love combining acting with singing, being a professional singer as well.
What projects are you working on right now?
Vanessa Bezrodnaya-A: I am currently filming a musical comedy called FallinginLove, where I play one of the lead roles. We have been shooting for two months, and the trailer will be released next month. Recently, I completed filming Christmas Eve with Stephen Baldwin and Eric Roberts, and I have a speaking role in Famous with Zac Efron. In addition, I have appeared in over 30 vertical mini-series (modern soap operas) and music videos for Peso Pluma and Crash Adams. I have also received an offer for a lead role in an action-musical film, which will start production later this year.
What hobbies or other talents do you have or enjoy in your spare time?
Vanessa Bezrodnaya-A:I love attending industry events, especially those hosted by Netflix, HBO, Disney, and Apple TV, where I meet stars and get inspired by their advice. Since 2019, I have been active in the Hollywood scene, attending premieres and networking. I’m also a trained flutist, having studied flute for over five years at music school. I plan to return to my singing career, having achieved significant success as a singer on large-scale TV projects across Europe and Asia. Besides this, I enjoy sports and maintaining good physical shape.
