Anamia Frias is a writer, director, actress, and producer rising in the film industry and determined to make an impact with her films! Anamia has a bachelor’s degree in Digital Filmmaking from The Los Angeles Film School and she is also as a production assistant at Walt Disney! With her background and drive, Frias has built a foundation that has propelled her towards success in the competitive film industry.
Anamia’s journey began with her award-winning screenplay for “Why Me,” a film that captured the attention of audiences and critics alike at the Madrid Arthouse Film Festival, where it was recognized as Best Experimental Short. This early triumph served as a springboard for her career, leading to the creation of her other acclaimed short, “RUN.” Not only did she write this compelling piece, but she also directed the film. “RUN” has won as Best TV Web Series and secured semi-finalist positions at various festivals.
In a recent interview, Anamia opened up about her current projects. “Right now, I finished two projects, ‘Run,’ which is my first short I acted in, as well as another short I did with my friends called ‘Her Other Side,'” she shared. Her excitement is palpable as she discusses her vision for the future: “I am currently working on making a longer short.…”
