In an interview, Erin shared her experience working on Ed Kemper, where she had the profound honor of portraying Aiko Koo, a 15-year-old dance student who tragically became one of Kemper’s victims. “Other than my recent project, CLAP CLAP, I previously finished working on Ed Kemper,” Erin noted, emphasizing the weight that this role carries for her both personally and professionally.
The role of Aiko Koo has not only been a significant milestone in Erin’s career but also an emotional journey that demanded deep introspection. “Playing a real-life character was an incredibly profound experience for me,” she reflected. “Aiko was a real person with hopes, dreams, and a future ahead of her, and I held a tremendous amount of respect for her story.”
