Q: Where are you originally from and where are you currently based?
Kumari – A: My family is originally from Sri Lanka, but we are four generations in Dallas, TX. I was born in Richardson.
Q: How did you get started in the industry and do you have a favorite film genre in terms of roles to be cast in?
Kumari – A: I started loving acting and modeling at a really young age. I then went to acting and modeling school. So it has always been a deep passion of mine. Honestly, I love to be cast in challenging roles that really push me.
Q: What are the top fashion brands you want to work for and how would you explain your style off the runway ?
Kumari – A: This is definitely a tough one. Fashion is truly a passion for me, so having to pick the top brands for me feels like walking into a candy store and having to just pick one. I am a die hard fan of Chanel, Versace, & Hugo Boss. Off the runway, I am either in dresses with two inch heels or faux leather pants and boots.
Q: As a model, do you have a specific regime to always stay focused and fit ?
Kumari – A: I love food so yes I do stick to a regime but also let myself indulge once a week.
Q: Can you share with us what projects you’ve been working on or have upcoming?
Kumari – A: I do have some things coming out, but I have to keep them under wraps at the moment. I will be able to share more soon.
Q: What is something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Kumari – A: I used to be a competitive ice skater in my spare time. I love reading historical memoirs, traveling to see the different cultures of the world and trying their food.
