John Rozelle is an actor originally from Huston, Texas. Always inspired by arts at a young age, John grew up in a household that valued education and amusement. He relocated to New York at a young age and attended acting classes there. Under the leadership of Brian Frankenstein and Allan McCloud, he participated in Upright Citizen’s Brigade. The Playhouse West, run by Tony Randall, and The Actors Company are two further institutions (with Daniel Probert and Joe Salazar). John acknowledges that, despite his enjoyment of many musical genres, country music—which he was initially exposed to by his grandfather—was his first passion. Later, he came to appreciate both R&B and Pop music. His love of sketching, poetry, and writing music was inspired by his admiration of music.
John had the opportunity of meeting The Jacksons when he was only 8 years old while they were on the Victory Tour. He was aware that he had to take the entertaining route. John began his career in entertainment by participating in regional talent competitions in Houston and New York. He was also known for doing performances at community centers, performing art studios, block parties, and house gatherings in order to share his talent with others and express himself.
