Q. Tiffany, can you share more about your recent film projects?
Tiffany Rothman – A: Film acting opportunities have been slow since the strike in 2023. However, I was able to do some short projects that can be seen on YOUTUBE channels such as HAIR GROWTH (2024), AT THE TABLE (2023), and the last series of BITTER MELON (2023).
Q. You recently starred in the film ANXIOUS. do you think with your background as a psychologist helped you preparing for the role and the themes of the film?
Tiffany Rothman – A: The feature film, ANXIOUS, from 2022 has been going to many film festivals. My psychological background helps me read and create the character I’m playing. However, the theme of this film was kept a secret since none of the actors received the script. The director, writer, producer, and lead actress, Nilda Chowdhry, chose it.
Q. You are also known for being a host on #filtered90211, What do you love most about hosting?
Tiffany Rothman – A: Being a TV host for #filtered90211 is a joy. I love working with my producer, George Anton, and my co-host, Chris Slone, and I feel fortunate about it.
Q. What are some events you’ve recently attended?
Tiffany Rothman – A: I attended the Micheaux Film Festival in Culver City for the film ANXIOUS at the end of October. Asian World Film Festival is coming up very soon. I was also at a very special gala on the 23rd of November at the Winn Slavin Gallery.
Q. What is one thing that has contributed to your success as an actress?
Tiffany Rothman – A: I always study for my craft. I don’t think such a thing is a natural talent but rather is a product of training. Since I am a member of the Lonny Chapman Theater, I get to take classes with Carmen Mitos, and I am very grateful for it.
