STORY BEHIND: SUSPENDERS UNBUTTONED MEDIA
How Sarah Weyer and Julie Palmquist founded Suspenders Unbuttoned Media is an interesting story. Suspenders Unbuttoned Media is an entertainment company focusing on digital media, now reaching over one million a month. It all started when their love of TV/film collided with their love of analyzing and discussing a good story. From this they created an Instagram fan account and began to create an entire community where they actively incorporate fundraising as part of their promotion. Their podcast, Suspenders Unbuttoned Podcast, grew organically from their Instagram lives, and they quickly found their footing interviewing actors, directors, producers, and so many others. Their shared love of connecting with people has helped them to create a place where real conversations happen, and it often feels like friends sitting down over dinner. Soon after launching their podcast, they began hosting and covering live fan events. This is something they immensely enjoy and look forward to doing more of in the future.
