Award-Winning Screenwriter David Barbeschi recently confirmed new film projects. Based in Burbank, California and with 14 wins and 51 nominations in his films, this award-winning Italian screenwriter is making out a unique name for himself in the film industry and creating films that resonate deeply with audiences.

Breakthrough with PAWNS

David’s breakout project came with the praised short film PAWNS. This compelling film was selected in 30 film festivals and received about 15 nominations. The project earned multiple awards for both writing and producing.

Recent Films and Higher Milestones in Film Industry

As of 2023, David has continued his creative talent with three short films that have entered the festival circuit: YATRA: The Journey, a fantasy adventure that invites viewers into a mesmerizing world.

Lollie, a poignant drama set in Brazil, exploring familial ties and cultural identity.

Finally, Paper Gloves, an drama short thriller that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.
