One of Genel Mejia’s latest projects, Muse, places him in multiple creative roles as writer, director, producer, cinematographer, and editor. The film follows a simple but intriguing premise: “A film director searches for his Muse.” While straightforward in description, the story ventures into surreal territory through visual storytelling and atmosphere-driven imagery. The official premise follows Goethe’s Faust after making a pact with Mephistopheles as he ultimately discovers redemption and transcendence through the ideal of the Eternal-Feminine.
