Independent supernatural horror film The Wrath of the Jinn is now streaming on Pixel Comet, giving audiences worldwide the opportunity to experience an atmospheric story that blends horror, drama, and suspense. The platform operates in California, USA, and Maharashtra, India, supporting independent filmmakers by providing a global stage for original productions.

Running for 106 minutes, the English-language feature explores themes of trust, faith, and the unknown through a suspense-driven narrative.
Written and produced by Cynthia Samson and directed and edited by Richard Samson, The Wrath of the Jinn follows Mohsin, a businessman in the garments industry, and his sister Farha, who manages household responsibilities while operating an online Quran-reading channel to support herself financially. When Farha develops an online friendship with an unknown admirer who praises her charitable work and religious dedication, their growing connection soon takes a disturbing turn. As she uncovers the truth behind the stranger’s identity, she is confronted with a terrifying reality that places her in grave danger, leaving Mohsin racing to protect her before everything falls apart.

The film stars Richard Samson, Cynthia Samson, Taleb Mahmoud Khammes, and Dris Abdel Rahim, with an original score composed by Vivek Abhishek.

Algerian actor Dris Abdel Rahim brings international experience to the production, having appeared in television series including Hayat and La Gazettes, as well as films such as Orphan, Violin Tears, The Shadow in My Sleep, and The Wrath of the Jinn.
The film’s musical score is composed by Mumbai-based Vivek Abhishek, who has more than fourteen years of experience in the entertainment industry. Festival Recognition and the Director’s Perspective

The film has continued to gain recognition on the festival circuit, reflecting the growing visibility of independent productions. Speaking about that recognition, director Richard Samson said, “It’s a truly humbling and rewarding feeling. As an independent filmmaker working with a small team, receiving recognition from film festivals means that audiences and judges connected with our story rather than the size of our production. It validates the hard work my sister and I put into the project, along with the contributions of our international cast and composer. This recognition motivates me to continue telling meaningful stories and to keep pushing myself creatively with every new film.”
Reflecting on the production process, Samson highlighted the collaborative nature of the project and the unique filming experience. “The most enjoyable part was bringing together people from different backgrounds and countries to create one shared vision. Our shooting locations and the entire production were handled in India. We filmed both at home and on outdoor locations, including spooky places and around a local shrine, which gave the film its unique atmosphere. The local community near the shrine was incredibly supportive and helped us discover some of the best filming locations.”
He added, “My sister and I edited the entire film ourselves on our PC, while collaborating online with actors from Algeria and Turkey. We were also fortunate to have our original soundtrack composed by a Bollywood music composer who has worked on major commercial film projects. Seeing all of these creative contributions come together into one independent film was an incredibly rewarding experience.“
The film has also received appreciation from international film director Sadruddin Khan, known for The Wedding Bandit, who praised The Wrath of the Jinn for its suspenseful horror atmosphere and engaging entertainment value.

Also available on Pixel Comet is the award-winning short film The Game Mode – A Sibling Story, a 22-minute English-language comedy and family drama that follows a passionate gamer and his sister as their everyday interactions lead to unexpected family moments.
