“If I can create something where I am undoubtedly me, without mortification, if I’m able to grow into the person I wished to be when I was nine years old, then that would truly be a time where I can say to myself, “This is it, I’ve made it.” And if this leads to creating stories that young people and even older people can view and feel inspired by, that sparks something within them. Just as the way a flame lit in me all those years ago. How amazing would that be? For me, this would also be an accomplishment. This idea motivates me to strive for the best in my work.”
